Batesville, AR - Two Lyon College softball players have earned St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-SLIAC Awards.
Freshman Infield/Utility
Taylor Gongre earned 3rd Team All-SLIAC honors after her performance during the regular season where she was the teams top hitter with 36 hits and was second in RBI's driven in (21). In the box she batted .336, recorded a .857 OPS, with 107 at-bats, 15 runs scored, 12 doubles, 1 triple, 10 walks, and 50 total bases. In the dish she finished the season with a record of 2-8, an 9.03 ERA, and tallied the 2nd most strikeouts on the team (22). In the field she finished with a .904 fielding percentage, with 42 putouts and 82 (2nd in conference) assists in 135 chances.
Senior Infielder
Anna Voth earned All-Sportsmanship Team honors after her performance in the regular season. As a batter she finished with a .229 average, .584 OPS, 96 at-bats, 13 runs scored, 22 hits, four doubles, one triple, eight walks, and 28 total bases. In the field she finished with a .948 fielding percentage, with 82 putouts, 12 double plays (2nd in conference), and 64 assists in 154 chances.
