COLUMBIA, Missouri - Lyon College Softball doesn't have an easy road to get to the American Midwest Conference championship game and qualify for the NAIA tournament.
Coming into today's 10 a.m. AMC tournament game against top-seeded Cottey College as an eighth-seed, the Scots (19-21) are on a four-game winning streak after sweeping the University of Health, Sciences and Pharmacy and Harris-Stowe State in the final regular season double-headers last weekend.Â
The last time the Lyon College played the Comets was a March 26th conference double-header in Nevada, Missouri. The Scots lost 8-0 and 11-0.Â
The tournament is at Antimi Softball Complex in Columbia, Missouri. The Scots and Comets begin action at 10 a.m on Field One.Â

The winner of the Lyon College vs.Cottey College game will play again on Tuesday at noon on Field One against the winner of Columbia vs. William Woods. The loser of Lyon vs. Cottey will play again on Monday at 2 p.m. on Field One against the loser of Columbia vs. William Woods.Â
