Box Score GULF SHORES, Ala. – The Lyon College Scots softball team led 2-1 after the first inning, but fell behind 9-2 and eventually lost to the Brenau University Tigers on Saturday morning at the Gulf Coast Invite tournament.
 
The Scots (0-9) scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning when Morgan Englehardt reached first on an error by the Brenau right fielder that scored Addison Harmon and Kassidy Robinson for a 2-1 lead.
 
The Tigers (7-5) scored five runs in the top of the second inning on a grand slam homerun, then added three more runs in the top of the sixth inning to go up 9-2.
 
Trinity Arrambide singled to right field to bring in Emily Martinez and Harmon reached first on an error that allowed Arrambide to score.
 
For the game, Robinson was 2-for-4 with a run scored, Clesey Wood was 2-for-4 at the plate, Arrambide was 1-for 3 with a run scored, Melanie Mooney was 1-for-3, Georgia Holzer went 1-for-4, Martinez was 1-for-4 with arun scored, Harmon scored a run and Englehardt got two runs batted in.
