BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College Softball team hosts Harris-Stowe State University on Saturday and University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis on Sunday. The first pitch of each day is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

The Matchup
Harris-Stowe State University: The Harris-Stowe State University Hornets are 0-12 on the season, 0-10 in AMC play. The Hornets are led offensively by Kyrah Greer. Greer paces HSSU with a .240 batting average and has a team-best one run scored on the year. The Hornets are led in the circle by Brandy Bradford. Bradford is currently 0-11 with a 25.69 earned run average and a team-best 13 strikeouts on the season.  

University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis: The University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis Eutectics are 4-12 on the season, 3-5 in AMC play. The Eutectics are led offensively by Deanne Pfyl and Lauren Wright. Pfyl paces UHSP with a .395 batting average and has recorded eight RBI's, while Wright is hitting .353 with a team-best 15 runs scored on the year. The Eutectics are led in the circle by Amber Walsh. Walsh is currently 0-2 with a team-best 4.25 earned run average and a team-high 12 strikeouts on the season.  

Lyon College: The Lyon College Scots are currently 7-21 on the year, 2-6 in AMC play. The Scots are led offensively by Kassidy Robinson, Cheyenne Herrera, and Kortanie Ruhland. Robinson paces Lyon with a .370 batting average to go along with a team-high 30 hits and has swiped a team-best 17 bags on the season. Herrera posts a .346 batting average with nine RBI's, while Ruhland is hitting .307 with 11 runs scored on the year. The Scots are led in the circle by Katelyn Platt. Platt is currently 3-6, including a complete-game shutout, and has converted a save on the year. 

Series History: Lyon is 11-1 all-time against Harris-Stowe State University, with their most recent meeting being in 2019 as the Scots defeated the Hornets by a score of 16-0. 

Lyon is 10-0 all-time against the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis, with their most recent meeting being in 2019 as the Scots defeated the Eutectics by a score of 9-1.
