Batesville, AR - Scots Volleyball has been voted to finish 4th in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference 2025 pre-season poll.
Lyon received 32 points for fourth finishing ahead of Spalding (27), Eureka (17), Blackburn (15), and Mississippi Women's (7).Â
Greenville was voted to win the SLIAC with 45 points and five first-place votes and in second just behind is Westminster with 44 points and three first-place votes. Webster was voted third with 37 points.Â
After the 2024 season, going 20-9 overall and appearing 2024 USCAA National Championship Head Coach
Kortney Cunningham will bring back a strong core including most starters. These would include
Mollie McCoy,
Keeley Beary,
Ryan Russell, and
Reyleigh Twist.Those returning and the 12 new additions to team will certainly make some noise year.Â
Last year, McCoy was named SLIAC 2nd Team All-Conference and a USCAA 1st Team All-American. Beary was also named a USCAA 1st Team All-American.
The 2025 season begins Saturday, August 30 at 11:00 AM with the Scots traveling to Conway, Arkansas to face Belhaven University at the Hendrix Invitational.Â
