Lyon College head Volleyball coach
Kortney Cunningham has announced that Paeton Tucker will return to her staff as an assistant coach.
"Paeton was a fantastic player who competed with both passion and composure—qualities I believe will translate seamlessly into her coaching," said Cunningham.
"Her firsthand experience in our program will be a tremendous asset as she begins working with our student-athletes," continued Cunningham. "Paeton will take on the responsibility of leading our back-row defense and serve receive."
"I am truly blessed and beyond excited to step into the role of Assistant Volleyball Coach here at Lyon College," said Tucker. "I'm honored to give back to the sport that helped shape me into who I am today. I will bring my passion for the game to coaching and I look forward to building relationships, overcoming challenges, and inspiring others to ignite their passion. Here's to another memorable season! During her time at Lyon she was a four-year member of the volleyball team, a member of the 2023 USCAA National Championship runner-up team, and a 2023 USCAA Volleyball 2nd Team All-American.
Academically, she earned a Bachelor's in Psychology making the Dean's List and Athletic Director's Honor Roll multiple times.
