Batesville, AR – The 2025 Mark Martin/Lyon College Invitational has officially concluded, with the Thayer Lady Bobcats and Mountain View Yellowjackets crowned this year's champions.
Game nine featured a matchup between the Southside Lady Southerners and the Nettleton Lady Warriors. Nettleton led 32–26 at halftime, but Southside rallied for a 64–60 comeback win. Maci Witt led all scorers with 30 points for Southside, while Tori Cunningham paced Nettleton with 16 points.
Game 10, the girls' championship, featured Greers Ferry Westside Lady Eagles against the Mountain View Yellowjackets. Greers Ferry took an early 28–22 lead and pulled away for a convincing 60–44 championship win. Kately Cornett led the Lady Eagles with 16 points, while Erin Akins paced the Yellowjackets with 16 points.
In the boys' bracket, Southside Southerners edged Cedar Ridge Timberwolves in a tight matchup. Southside led 22–18 at halftime and held on for a 49–46 win to claim third place. Trey Allen led the Southerners with 19 points, while Rylan Brown finished with 14 points for Cedar Ridge.
In the championship game, Mountain View Yellowjackets faced the Thayer Bobcats. Mountain View carried a 27–21 lead into halftime and pulled away late to secure a 54–48 victory and the tournament championship. Cole Gray led the Yellowjackets with 19 points, while Hunter Trinkler paced Thayer with 15 points as the Bobcats finished as runner-up.
