Kennett, MO - Scots Men's Golf Team headed to Missouri to compete in the Williams Baptist University Fall Invitational. The Scots competed against conference counterpart Blackburn College as well as nine other opponents. A total of 10 golfers competed, split into Team A and Team B. Team A consisted of 
Ryan Kriz, John 
Blake Turner, 
John Waltzer, 
Mikey Winne, and 
Hunter Beasley. Team B contained William Manry, 
Joshua Lane, 
Carter McCaffrey, 
Manav Perfecto, and 
Ace Sibley. 
 
The Scots A Team finished second of ten teams, shooting a 578 for the tournament. Ending round one shooting 298 and round two with 280. Not too far behind, Team B placed fourth with a team score of 604 completing round one with 307 strokes and round two with 297. Kriz, Waltzer, and Turner came out on top finishing within the top 10. Manry, Lane, and Winne finished inside the top 15 tied for 12th place
 
Kriz led The Scots tied for second place out of 55 total participants, tallying four under par for the tournament. Kriz finished with a total of 140 completing round one with 72 strokes and round two with 68 strokes. In Round one, Kriz found a hot streak and broke even on many holes (1, 3-8, 10, 12-18). He birdied hole two and four, then bogied hole 9 and 11. In round two, he nearly birdied half of the holes (1, 6-7, 10, 12, 17-18). With pars coming from holes 2-5, 9, 11, and 14-16. He had a bogey on the 8th and a double bogey on the 13th hole.
 
In fourth place, Waltzer shot a 143 for the tournament paring round one (72) and finishing one under par with a 71 in round two. Waltzer parred 12 holes in round one (2-3, 5-8, 10-11, 14-15, 17-18) and notched three birdies (1, 9, 12). In round two, he parred 11 holes (2-4, 6-8, 11, 14, 16-18), birdied four (1, 12, 13, 15), and bogied three ( 5, 9, 10).
 
Turner rounds out the top 10 tied for eighth place, shooting a 146 split between round one 78 and 68. He had a rough start in the first round shooting six over par. He began with a birdie on hole one and parred hole two, then laid two bogies and two double bogies on the card for holes three through six. He improved on the back nine, birdying hole 12, parring six holes (10-11, 14-15, 17-18), with only holes 13 and 16 being bogies. Turner strikes back in round two shooting four under par and only putting up bogies for holes five and six. He recorded birdies on holes 4, 3, 9, 10, 12, and 13. 
 
Manry, Lane, and Winne each tied for 12th overall with totals of 149. Manry rebounded from a six-over-par opening round to finish one under in round two. Lane displayed steady play in the middle of his second round, maintaining par through several holes. Winne had a mixed first round with multiple bogeys but answered with birdies on holes 7, 10, and 12. He found his rhythm in round two, carding pars on the first seven holes.
 
McCaffery tied for 19th with a total of 151, recording 78 strokes in round one and 73 in round two. Across 36 holes, he carded 20 pars, five birdies, and 10 bogeys.
Beasley followed closely in 21st place with a total of 152 (79–73). After opening seven over par in round one, he responded with a steady second round, shooting just one over. He stayed consistent through most of the round, highlighted by four birdies.
Perfecto placed 25th and recorded a total of 155, shooting 75 in round one and 80 in round two. Sibley placed 29th with a score of 158 (78–80).
