Batesville, AR - Seven Lyon College men's soccer players have earned St. Louis Intercolligiate Athletic Conference All-SLIAC Awards and the team has earned the SLIAC Team Sportsmanship award.
Junior Midfielder
Matheus Nunes earned 1st Team All-SLIAC honors after his performance in the regular season where he played 1393 minutes, scored nine goals on 27 shots on goal, drove in two game winning goals, contributed nine assists, went 1/2 on penalty kicks, and contributed 27 points. He played in and started all 16 regular season games this year.
Sophomore Midfielder
Cristian De La Rosa earned 1st Team All-SLIAC honors as well having played 1201 minutes, scoring one goal on four shots on goal, contributing one assist, and adding three points. De La Rosa played in 15 games, starting 13 times this season.
Junior
Tomas Biasi also was named 1st Team All-SLIAC having played 1097 minutes, scoring one goal on three shots on goal, contributing one assist, and dding three points. Biasi played in 14 games, starting 12 times this season.
Sophomore Forward
Lucca Torres earned 2nd Team All-SLIAC honors after his performance in the regular season where he played 1280 minutes, leading the team in goals scoring 11 on 23 shots on goal, drove in two game winning goals, contributing nine assists, went 2/2 on penalty kicks, and led the team adding 30 points. He played in 16 games this season, starting 14 times.
Junior Forward
Joao Barros earned 2nd Team All-SLIAC honors as well having played 1231 minutes, scoring six goals on 15 shots on goal, drove in one game winning goal, contributed two assists, and added 14 points. He 15 games this year, having played 16 regular season games.
Junior Goalkeeper
Gabriel Rangel also was named 2nd Team All-SLIAC having played 1080 minutes, leading the team with 31 saves, allowing 11 goals facing 102 shots, having a goals allowed average of .93 the second best in the SLIAC, and putting up three shutouts. Rangel played in 11 games this season, starting 11 times.
Junior Goalkeeper
Adryan Ledezma was named a member of the All-SLIAC Sportsmanship Team having played 177 minutes, recording eight saves, allowing one goal facing 15 shots.
