Elsah, IL - The Lyon College women's cross country team competed at the Principia Twilight Meet this evening, Scots faced two other division III opponents in Washington University and Blackburn college. Freshman Brooklynn Collins and Junior Madison DeRoussel led the Scots with a top-15 finishes in the women's 6K. 

Collins clocked a time of 28:08.60 to place 13th overall, continuing her consistent start to her collegiate career. Junior Madison DeRoussel followed close behind, finishing 14th with a time of 28:25.20, helping Lyon secure key placements in the competitive field.

Senior Lana Ballard recorded a time of 32:07.40 to finish 18th, while junior Brianna Krantz crossed just behind in 32:20.00 for 19th place. Rounding out the scoring for the Scots, sophomore Novalee Lackey ran 34:33.20 to finish 25th, and freshman Jordyn Turner completed the race in 39:36.70, placing 25th overall. Sophomore Alora Huver was listed but did not start.
