Waverly, IA – The Lyon College women's cross-country team placed two runners inside the top 200 at the NCAA DIII Midwest Regional hosted by Wartburg College. Competing against some of the nation's best, the Scots delivered a strong showing in a field of 219, with several athletes breaking personal and season-best times on the 6k course.
Five Scots competed in today's meet, with two finishing inside the top 200. Breaking her personal best, Brooklyn Collins was the first Scot to cross the line, placing 136th with a time of 25:35.9.
Madison DeRoussel followed in 162nd, finishing with a time of 27:24.6.
Breaking her season-best,
Brianna Krantz crossed the finish line in 201st with a time of 30:53.8. Also surpassing her season-best,
Novalee Lackey finished 210th with a time of 32:35.4, followed closely by
Lana Ballard in 211th at 32:38.0.
