St. Louis, MO – The Scots turned in their strongest team performance of the season at the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship, showcasing impressive depth with two runners placing in the top 15 and two more finishing inside the top 30.
A total of six Scots competed in a field of 50 runners.
Brooklynn Collins led the charge for Lyon, finishing in an impressive 12th place with a time of 26:11.70. Just seven seconds behind,
Madison DeRoussel crossed the line in 13th at 26:18.96.
Lana Ballard followed with a strong performance, placing 25th with a time of 29:36.32, while
Brianna Krantz rounded out the top 30, clocking in at 31:00.68.
Novalee Lackey crossed the finish line in 36th place with a time of 32:48.39, while
Jordyn Turner followed in 40th, finishing with a time of 36:32.17.
With these results,
Brooklynn Collins and
Madison DeRoussel earned selections to the SLIAC All-Conference Team, while the Lyon women's cross country team was honored with the SLIAC Sportsmanship Award.
