Batesville, AR - The Lyon College Athletics Department has partnered with Influxer, to provide student-athletes the opportunity to monetize on their name, image and likeness rights (NIL) by allowing fans to purchase personalized merchandise.

Founded in 2022, Influxer was created with mission to provide resources to athletes to take of advantage of their opportunities in the area of NIL. The company works with over 45,000 student athletes across the nation and over 550 colleges. With Lyon joining the ranks, student athletes will now have the opportunity to sell merchandise with their name and Lyon's official logo.

"We're thrilled to officially work with Lyon College as their NIL merchandise provider", said Influxer CEO Steve McLean. "Influxer unlocks opportunities for every student-athlete to benefit from their name, image, and likeness, while giving fans a new way to support both the players they cheer for and the institution they love". 

Every Lyon College athlete will have the opportunity to create their own storefront and showcase personalized gear that is available for purchase. 

McLean added, "We're especially excited about the buy-in from Lyon College's administration, who share our vision of giving student-athletes the best experience possible. We look forward to building a close, long-term relationship with the Batesville community". 

Lyon College in partnership with Influxer will also be offering a paid internship position, this position provides the opportunity to gain real-world experience in the field of sports business, marketing, and athlete support.
