Columbia, MO – The Scots traveled to Columbia College to compete in the Columbia College Cougar Women's Fall Invitational, finishing eighth overall in a competitive nine-team field. Lyon featured six golfers in the tournament, with three placing inside the top 40 and three more finishing within the top 50.
Maya Akey led the Scots at the Columbia College Cougar Women's Fall Invitational, finishing with a total score of 214 after rounds of 110 and 104. Following a challenging first round, Akey rebounded in Round 2 with improved consistency across both the front and back nine, cutting six strokes off her opening score. Her second round was highlighted by a well-executed par on the par-3 16
th.
Austyn Teufel was the second finisher for the Scots, placing 38th overall with a total score of 217 after rounds of 107 and 110. Teufel opened the tournament with a steady front nine and capped her first round with a clean par on the 15th. In Round 2, she continued to battle through challenging course conditions, demonstrating perseverance and consistency throughout both days of play.
Zoe Anderson finished close behind, tying for 39th place with a total score of 222, recording rounds of 110 and 112. Anderson displayed steady consistency across both days, highlighted by her strong performance on the 16th hole, where she notched back-to-back pars to close out her tournament.
Keylee Lyons and
Jacey Holder each tied for 43rd place, both finishing with a total score of 230. Lyons recorded rounds of 111 and 119, while Holder carded 106 and 124.
JacieLynn Crapse rounded out the Scots' lineup in 47th place, posting a two-round total of 241 with scores of 118 and 123.
