Frankston, TX - Lyon women's golf brought three to the Goliath Compression Invitational, where they competed as individuals in a field of just under fifty competitors.

Zoe Anderson, and
Jacey Holder battled through two days of competition on the par-72 Pine Dunes Resort and Golf Club this Monday and Tuesday.
Seven teams competed in the event with East Texas Baptist University taking the top spot at 637 (322-315), while the host Leatourneau University came in just behind at 641 (319-322). Hardin Simmons Univeristy finished at third with 643 (323-320). Tied for fourth at 656 are the University of Northwestern - St. Paul (337-319) and Schriener University (335-321). Jacksonville College (TX) placed sixth with 676 (336-340) and Nebraska Wesleyan placed seventh with 733 (368-365).
Teufel placed 47th overall, shooting 107 in round one and 110 in round two for tournament total of 217. In round one recorded pars on holes 6 & 18, she would recorded three pars on holes 10,13,18 in round two.
Anderson finished 48th overall, she shot 116 in the first round and 110 in the second for a total of 226. Improved play in the second round would cut her stroke count down.
In 49th place, Holder shot 117 in both rounds of the tournament for a total of 234.
