Lyon College women's soccer falls to Principia 1-0 at Huser Field

BATESVILLE, Arkansas - The Lyon College women's soccer Scots fell to Principia 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Huser Field in Batesville in a SLIAC match.

The Scots (3-9-2, 2-4-1)  gave up the only goal of the match in the 54th minute of the second half. 

Lyon College had two shots on goal and four shots total in the match. Emily Betzold had a shot on goal and of the three shots that Allison Byars took, one was on-goal. 
Principia had 11 shots and six on-goal kicks.

Jessie Stauffer, the goalie for the Scots, had five saves on the day.

The Scots will conclude the season with a trip to Mississipi University for Women next week.
