LEMONT FURNACE, Pennsylvania - The Lyon College women's team finished sixth out of six teams competing at the USCAA National Championships 6K race on Sunday.
Kacie Teruya ran 12th overall for the Scots in a time of 26:48.50. Teruya was also named as a USCAA Second Team All-American as well as winning USCAA Student Athlete of the Year.
The rest of the Scots' women rounded out the day with Madison DeRoussel finishing a solid 29th in a time of 29:14.80.
Next for Lyon College was Briana Krantz at 41st in a time of 32:05.70,
Trinity Davis in 46th in a time of 34:27.90 and Kodi Hatifield ran 47th in a time of 34:40.40
As a team, Lyon had 118 points.
In the USCAA Men's National Championship 8K race, Lyon's
Gavin Bush ran 31st in a time of 32:43.0. Bush was also named as USCAA Student Athlete of the Year.
The Lyon College runner Gage Jackson ran 44th overall 34:24.60.
