BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College women's soccer team takes on William Woods University on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Prior to the match, the three seniors will be honored for their commitment and dedication to the women's soccer program.

William Woods University: The William Woods University Owls are currently 6-1 on the season, 6-0 in the AMC. William Woods University defeated Hannibal – LaGrange University on Wednesday by a score of 2-0. The Owls are led up front by McKenzie Gourley and Cindy Gonzalez. Gourley has scored a team-high seven goals and tallied a pair of assists on the season, while Gonzalez has netted five goals and recorded a team-best four assists. William Woods University will lean on their goalkeeper, CeVana Borgstedt, who has recorded a team-best 13 saves this season.
Lyon College: The Lyon College Scots are 3-4 on the season, 3-2 in the AMC. The Scots fell to Missouri Baptist University on Tuesday by a score of 3-0. Lyon is led up front by
Hailey Gonzales,
Emma Brandes, and
Sarah Evans. Gonzales and Brandes have netted two goals apiece on the year, while Evans has tallied a goal and an assist. The Scots will lean on their goalkeeper,
Jena Vavasseur, who has made a team-high 44 saves on the season.
