BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College women's soccer team squares off with Hannibal-LaGrange University on Saturday. The match will begin at 1:00 p.m.  

Saturday also marks 'Senior Day' for three Scots' seniors in Darby Blaylock (SR/Fairview, Texas), Elena Cervantes (SR/Fort Smith, Ark.), and Tabetha Troxler (SR/West Memphis, Ark.) as they will all be honored for their contributions to the women's soccer program prior to the match.

The Matchup
Hannibal-LaGrange University: The Hannibal-LaGrange University Trojans are 1-8-1 on the year, 0-6-1 in the AMC. The Trojans are coming off a 3-0 loss to Missouri Baptist University. HLG is led up front by Maci Cotler. Cotler has recorded a team-best six goals on the season. Hannibal-LaGrange University will lean on goalkeeper, Madi Allen, who has recorded a team-high 84 saves this year.

Lyon College: The Lyon College Scots are currently 6-7 on the season, 3-5 in the AMC. Lyon is coming off a 1-0 victory over St. Louis College of Pharmacy on Monday. The hosts from Batesville are led up front by an array of Scots. Tabetha Troxler has scored a team-best six goals this year. Kimberly Fretwell has tallied five goals, while Sarah Evans and Hailey Gonzales have each scored four times. Gonzales and Alexandria Denton have recorded six assists apiece in the 2019 campaign. In addition to her goal-scoring abilities, the Scots will lean on goalkeeper, Tabetha Troxler, who has recorded a team-best 27 saves. 

Series History
Lyon is 4-2 all-time against Hannibal-LaGrange University, with their most recent meeting being in 2018 as the Scots defeated the Trojans by a score of 5-2.
