Lyon College

Tracy Stewart-Lange, a Lyon College alumna and member of its Athletic Hall of Fame, enters her 16th year as head women's basketball coach at Lyon in 2020-21.

She has led the Scots to nine consecutive NAIA Division I postseason bids from 2011-20 - the first-ever playoff trips for the program.

In 2019-20, Stewart-Lange was named as the AMC Coach of the Year for the third time in her career after leading the Scots to their first AMC Regular-Season title since 2015-16. Stewart-Lange was named the AMC Coach of the Year during the 2012-13 and 2015-16 seasons. The Scots finished the regular season at 27-2 (23-1 AMC). The 27 wins tied the 2012-13 team for the most wins in the regular season, while the 23 conference victories are the most in a season in program history. Stewart-Lange won her 300^th game at Lyon earlier this season on Nov. 26 in the Scots' 71-64 victory over Philander Smith College.

In 2018-19, the Scots finished 25-8 and won their first-round game at the NAIA National Tournament against Vanguard, 77-73, before falling to eventual National Champion Montana-Western in the second round. Stewart-Lange earned her 300th-career win in the Scots' 112-47 victory on Dec. 1 at Stephens College. The 112 points are a single-game scoring record for the program.

In 2017-18, the Scots finished 24-8 and placed third in the regular season in the American Midwest Conference, while making their sixth straight appearance in the AMC Tournament. In 2016-17 the Scots finished 28-6 and were the AMC Tournament runner-ups. Stewart-Lange led Lyon to the most wins in program history (30-4) in 2015-16, and has an overall record at Lyon of 270-147. The Scots were American Midwest Conference regular season, and tournament Champions in 2015-16. She also led the Scots to an American Midwest Conference Co-Championship in 2012-13.

A native of Batesville and 1986 graduate of Lyon, Stewart-Lange is a former NCAA Division I head coach of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Lady Trojans.

Stewart-Lange was head women's basketball coach at UALR for five years. Previously, she had been an assistant coach at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Mississippi State, Westark Community College at Fort Smith, and Texas A&M, where she served as first assistant and was recruiting coordinator.

More recently, she has been the assistant girls' varsity coach and Lower School physical education instructor at Webb School of Knoxville, Tenn.

Stewart-Lange began her college playing years at ASU-Beebe, where she was an all-conference player on the women's basketball team. After transferring to Lyon, Stewart-Lange led the team in assists and was twice named to the all-conference and all-district teams in the AIC.

She received the Winnie Marable Award for the outstanding female student-athlete and was named to Who's Who Among American College and University Students. She was elected into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2000.

She was named as the Associate Athletic Director for Advancement and Marketing in Aug. 2018. In her expanded role, she will work with the athletic leadership team and coaching staffs to cultivate and activate corporate sponsorships. she will work with the college's marketing and sports information departments to promote and market all Scot athletic events.

She also serves as the Senior Women's Administrator.

She received a B.A. degree in English and journalism at Lyon and a master of education degree in sports administration at Mississippi State University.

Stewart-Lange and her husband Kel have a daughter, Hope, and a son, Wes.
