Tony Roepcke enters his 12th year at the helm of the Scots' baseball program in 2021.

The Scots were 20-6 (9-2 AMC) before COVID-19 ended the 2020 season abruptly. The Scots were ranked as high as No. 13 in the NAIA Top 25 Poll and earned five wins over top-25 teams, including a three-game series sweep of then-No. 13 Oklahoma Wesleyan to open up the season.

Lyon finished the 2019 season at 40-22 and was placed in the Williamsburg Bracket for the NAIA Opening Round. It marked the fourth time in the last five years, including three-straight seasons the Scots earned a spot in the Opening Round. Lyon went 2-2 at Williamsburg and finished one game shy of the Championship Game of the bracket. Ropecke won the 300th game in his coaching career on Feb. 26, when the Scots defeated NCAA Division II Henderson State on the road, 9-7.

Roepcke led the Scots to their second consecutive NAIA Opening Round appearance after the team earned its first AMC Regular-Season Title. He was named as the AMC Coach of the Year after leading the team to a 22-7 mark in the AMC. The Scots finished the year at 37-17 overall.

Roepcke led the Scots to their first AMC Tournament Championship during the 2017 season and a berth in the NAIA National Tournament.

Before becoming the head coach at Lyon, Roepcke was an assistant to long-time head baseball coach Kirk Kelley and played three years in the Scots' outfield for Kelley from 2003-05. He became the oldest player to wear a Lyon uniform, and at age 33, was the oldest player in NAIA history to hit a grand slam.

As a coach, Roepcke enters the 2018 season with an overall record of 248-176 (.584) and a conference record of 115-86 (.572). He has led the Scots to an NAIA postseason berth three of the last five years. 

Roepcke has also coached one NAIA All-American, one NAIA All-American honorable mention and 16 All-Conference selections during his time at Lyon.

He graduated from Lyon in 2005 with a degree in art.

Roepcke is married to Jeanne and they have one son, Talan.
