Batesville, AR – Lyon Scots men's soccer faced heavy pressure against the Belhaven University Blazers. Blazers would get past the Scots in a 3-1 final score. Scots are now 2-3-1.
Scots were able to get off 10 shots with four going on target.
Pol Torres led for the Scots with three shots and one on target.
Matheus Nunes tallied two shots.
Micah Rangel was able to get one shot off with one shot going on goal.
Remigio Montesdeoca scored the loan goal for the Scots with an assist coming from
Andre Rodriguez.

In the first half, Lyon established early offensive pressure against the Blazers, unleashing six total shot attempts.

Traviss Ragan set a quick tempo by launching aggressive shots off target in the opening four minutes.

Pol Torres provided the Scots' most scoring opportunities, firing back-to-back testing strikes on frame that forced saves from Belhaven's keeper. Torres continued to threaten the backline, registering another shot attempt in the twenty-second minute. Defensively, goalkeeper

Joel Busby, Belhaven would go into the half with a 1-0 lead.
In the second half, Scots displayed a fighting spirit during a demanding second half. The Scots' attacking unit continuously pressured the backline, fueled by aggressive shot attempts from
Pol Torres and

Bruno Nucci remained locked in under intense pressure, anchoring the defense and securing a spectacular late save in the eighty-eighth minute to deny a dangerous Blazers look. In the sixty-ninth minute, defender Jake Mcmurdo forced a save on frame. Although a highly physical battle resulted in a yellow caution card for
Clemente Diez Leiva, Lyon's persistence beautifully paid off late in the match. At the 84:05 mark,
Andre Rodriguez capitalized on a precise attacking sequence to score a goal off an assist from
Remigio Montesdeoca. Despite their best efforts, the Blazers were able to get two past Nucci in the second to secure a 3-1 victory.
