Clarksville, AR – The Scots kept things close but were unable to answer a late first-half goal from the University of the Ozarks Eagles. With the result, the Scots move to 2-2-1 on the season.
As a team, the Scots recorded 13 shots, with seven finding the target.
Matheus Nunes led Lyon with four shots, including two on goal.
Tiago Donadon and
Roman Magnanelli each recorded two shots, combining for three shots on goal.
Pol Torres,
Mateus Rezende, and
Joel Busby each added one shot.
Preston Telfer started in goal and recorded four saves.
In the first, Lyon displayed a highly aggressive offense. The Scots consistently pressured the Eagles backline, firing off nine total shots during the period.

Matheus Nunes sparked the attack early, unleashing on-target attempts that forced quick saves from the Eagles' keeper. Additional scoring threats from
Inaki Terra,
Pol Torres, and
Roman Magnanelli kept the pressure high, while
Tiago Donadon and
Joel Busby forced late first-half saves on frame. Goalkeeper

Matthew Turner, Jake Mcmurdo,
Remigio Montesdeoca, and
Andre Rodriguez successfully preserved the team's defensive structure until the final whistle. The Eagles would hold their lead until the end securing a 1-0 victory over the Scots.
