Batesville, AR - Eight Lyon College baseball players have earned St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-SLIAC Awards.
Freshman Infielder
Tyler Hahn earned 1st Team All-SLIAC honors after his performance in the regular season, batting .342 with an OPS of .971. He finished third on the team in hits (51), placed tied for first on the team and third in conference in doubles (15), he also recorded 45 RBI's placing second among the Scots and fifth in the SLIAC. Hahn scored 37 runs, notched a triple, recorded four home runs, and stole three bases. He finished with .876 fielding with 34 putouts and 72 assists in 121 chances. His finished 3rd most on team in assists.
Sophomore Outfielder/Catcher
Braden Bramlett earned 1st Team All-SLIAC honors after his performance in the regular season where he led the team and conference in batting average .364. He also finished with an OPS of 1.140, topping the team and placing second in the conference. Bramlett led the team, conference, and placed second in all of NCAA DIII in hit-by-pitches with 35. In the box for the Scots he recorded 48 hits, 11 doubles, two triples, five home runs, and 41 RBI. In the field he finished with a .972 fielding, recording 67 putouts with two assists in 71 chances.
Freshman Pitcher
Rocco Boyle earned 3rd Team All-SLIAC honors after his performance in the regular season where he led the team in ERA 2.50, WHIP 1.25, and finished with a 4-1 record. In 36 innings pitched he allowed 11 runs, only 10 of which were earned, on 33 hits. He recorded 10 strikeouts this year.
Senior Catcher
Kooper McCoy earned 3rd Team All-SLIAC honors after his performance in the regular season where he led the team and finished 2nd in the conference in RBIs (49) and doubles (15). In the box he finished with a .342 average and 1.000 OPS. He recorded 55 hits, seven home runs, and stole eight bases. Behind home plate he notched 134 putouts and 9 assists in 147 chances for a .969 fielding percentage.
Junior Infielder
Ashton Compton was named 3rd Team All-SLIAC after his performance in the regular season where he led the team in hits (61) and was second in runs scored (50). His hitting and runs scored this season where the 4th most in the conference. He batted .363 with a .954 OPS, notched 14 doubles, a triple, 34 RBI, two homers, and 14 stole bases. At first base he led the team in putouts (326), chances (350), double plays (24), and finished with a .986 fielding percentage.
Junior Catcher/Outfielder
Eli Marcotte was named 3rd Team All-SLIAC after his performance in the regular season where he led the team in walks (31) and runs scored (54). He finished them second in the conference in walks and fifth in runs scored. In the box he recorded 47 hits, 12 doubles, 3 triples, five homeruns, and 40 RBIs. In the field he tallied 117 putouts and 10 assists on 131 chances for a .969 fielding percentage.
Sophomore Outfielder
Slade Inman was named 3rd Team All-SLIAC after his performance in the regular season where he led the conference and the team in triples with five. He batted .297 on the year with .990 OPS, he drove in 35 RBI on 38 hits, notched 10 doubles and three homeruns.
Junior Infielder
Caleb Collins was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team after his performance in the regular season where he was fouth on the team in putouts (71) and sacrifice bunts (4). In the fielder he batted .326 with .792 OPS, he drove in 15 RBI on 31 hits, notched three doubles and one homerun. He fielded with a .987 percentage.
