In a tough 10-3 loss to the Gorloks, the Scots showed flashes of offensive potential.
Tyler Hahn anchored the lineup, finishing 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, while also scoring a run in the fourth inning.
Kooper McCoy and
Jarius Edwards each contributed hits to the six-hit total, with McCoy driving in one of the team's three runs.
Ashton Compton remained a steady presence, reaching base via a hit and a walk, and
Eli Marcotte utilized his plate discipline to draw a walk and eventually cross the plate in the eighth. On the mound,
Joe Galay took the loss after a brief start, making way for
Jackson Smith, who battled through five innings and struck out one.
Garrett McClain provided a solid relief appearance late in the game, allowing just one hit over two frames as Lyon looked to stifle the Webster offense.
