Greenville, IL – Scots take a tough loss in their series opener against the Greenville Panthers. After a late rally in the top of the ninth, the Panthers got on top early. With the result, Scots are now 20-9.

Braden Bramlett anchored the Scots' lineup, going 3-for-5 with a solo home run and a late-inning double to finish with two runs scored.
Eli Marcotte also delivered a standout performance, finishing a perfect 3-for-3 with a two-run blast in the fourth and an additional double. Power hitting was a theme for Lyon, as
Landon Swallow and
Kooper McCoy each launched two-run homers to help chip away at Greenville's lead. Despite recording 12 hits as a team, including extra-base contributions from
Tyler Hahn and
Slade Inman, the Scots struggled to overcome a massive fifth-inning surge by the Panthers. On the mound, starter
Joe Galay took the loss after battling through 4.2 innings, while
Colton Will and
Gavin Reese provided relief to close out the contest.
