Game 1
Lyon 12, Principia 9
In a dominant 12-9 victory, the Lyon College Scots showcased a relentless offensive attack and resilient pitching to overcome the Principia Panthers. The Scots' lineup was powered by
Jarius Edwards, who delivered a signature performance including a solo home run in the sixth inning and three RBIs.
Ashton Compton was equally vital, recording two hits, scoring twice, and driving in a run with a crucial double during a five-run seventh-inning explosion.
Braden Bramlett remained a constant threat, reaching base multiple times and scoring three runs, while
Kooper McCoy and
Landon Swallow provided steady production with timely hits and RBIs. On the mound,
Thomas Irwin earned the win with a stellar relief outing, striking out six Panthers over 4.2 innings while allowing zero earned runs.

Ashton Compton, who finished the day with three RBIs and two runs scored.
Landon Swallow added to the power display with a solo home run in the fourth, while
Eli Marcotte proved a constant threat, recording two hits, a triple, and scoring three times. The Scots' middle infield was particularly productive, as
Jarius Edwards went 3-for-5 with two doubles and three runs scored, while
Tyler Hahn added a late-inning RBI triple.
