Batesville, AR - Three members of the Lyon College Fighting Scots men's and women's basketball teams have been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
Sophomore Guard
Kennedy Warren has been honored as a member of the 2025-26 Academic All-Distrcit Team for men's basketball. Sophomore Forward
Molly Mason and Senior Guard/Forward
Natalya Kaza have been recognized as members of the Academic All-Distrcit Team for women's basketball. Kaza has been selected as an Academic All-America finalist.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 14 (men) and April 15 (women).
Criteria for this award is to have a 3.50 or better GPA, as well as having competed in 90% of a teams games or have started 66% of a teams total games played.
