Batesville, AR - Three Lyon College Fighting Scots women's basketball players have earned St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-SLIAC Awards and Natayla Kaza has been named the Player of the Year.
Senior Guard/Forward
Natalya Kaza has been named SLIAC Player of the Year and 1st team All-SLIAC after her performance in the regular season where she led the team in points scored (559) and has been ranked within the top five of scoring across the breath of Division III NCAA Women's Basketball. She went 44% from the field (203-458), 38% from three (59-155), an excellent 85% from the free throw line (94-111). She 3rd on team in total rebounds (162), 4th in assists (44), and led her team in steals (70). She played in and started all 25 regular season games.
Senior Center
Savanna Lopez earned 2nd All-SLIAC and has been named to the All-Defensive Team after her performance during the regular season where she led her team in blocks (97) has been ranked with the top five in blocks across NCAA Divsion III Women's Basketball. She went 43% from the field (98-226) and 85% from the free throw line (17-20). She led the team in rebounds as well with 247 total, with most being defensive (212). She was 3rd in assists (48) and 4th in steals (32). She played in and started all 25 regular season games.
Junior Center
Paris Halliburton was honored as a member of the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship team having shot 39% from the field (35-91), 68% from the free throw line (19-28), was 6th on the team in rebounds (88). She added 9 assists and 8 steals. She played in 25 regular season games.
