Batesville, AR - Three Lyon College men's basketball players have earned St.Louis Intercolligiate Athletic Conference All-SLIAC Awards.
Junior Power Forward
Trevon Taylor earned 1st Team All-SLIAC Honors after his performance the regular season where he was the teams top scorer (386) and led the team off the boards with 202 rebounds. From the hardwood he went 47% from the field (161-341), 28% from three (21-76), 49% from the free throw line (43-88), and kept things moving with 33 assists. Defensively he led the team with 30 blocks and 32 steals. He has played in and started all 25 regular season games.
Junior Point Guard
Stephen Reed earned 2nd Team All-SLIAC Honors after his performance during the regular season where placed second in scoring (308) and led the team in assists (63). He shot 52% from the field (100-191), 66% from the free throw line (102-155), and is 4th in rebounding on the team with 138. Defensively he led the team in steals (62). He has played in a started all 25 regular season games.
Graduate Student
Jaaron Harriott was honored as a member of the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship team having shot 39% from the field (15-39), 55% from the free throw line (12-22), and accounted for 27 rebounds. He contributed 9 assists and three steals.
