Batesville, AR - The Lyon College Scots men's golf team will travel to Union Grove, Alabama to open their fall schedule in the Roger Lundy Alabama Invasion. Scots will compete Thursday, September 4th through Saturday, September 6th. 

Lyon will face off against five NCAA Division III programs in the contest. With two of the programs being fellow members of the SLIAC in Spalding University and Mississippi University for Women. The Scots look to improve upon their performance last year placing 3rd overall in the SLIAC Men's Golf Conference Championship. 

Head Coach Parker Rehorn will bring five athletes to the contest including Senior Blake Turner, Junior Ryan Kriz, Sophomore Mikey Winne, and Freshmen John Waltzer & Hunter Beasley. Last time Turner, Kriz, Winne competed was in the SLIAC Men's Golf Conference Championship. Turner placed 10th overall shooting a 218, Kriz placed tied for 6th overall shooting a 215, Winne placed 18th overall shooting a 224. Turner was named 2nd Team All-Conference and Kriz was named 1st Team All-Conference.
