Scots show off on the court against Greenville in impressing fashion

Box Score Batesville, AR – Scots light up the scoreboard with a dominant 153-point performance against the Greenville University Panthers. The explosive outing powers Lyon to a 5-1 record on the season.
 
Colbie West stole the show with 35 points, six offensive rebounds, and a team-high five assists. Trayvon Taylor electrified the court with multiple dunks on his way to 28 points, while Kenneth Brown controlled the glass with eight defensive rebounds. Xavier Sorrell added a strong all-around performance with 18 points and seven rebounds to round out a dominant night for the Scots.
 
As the Scots and Panthers get underway, Colbie West opens the scoring with a jumper before Greenville answers with a three. Lyon quickly settles in, using sharp ball movement to surge ahead 21-7 by the first media timeout. As the Panthers try to close the gap, West slips behind the defense for a clean layup to keep control at 35-21 midway through the half. West then draws multiple fouls on strong drives, helping the Scots maintain a 44-29 advantage.
 
Xavier Sorrell powers through traffic for a tough finish, extending the lead to 59-36 with 5:30 remaining. Moments later, Hudson Rogers throws a perfect lob to Cameron Brown, who hammers it home to push the margin to 70-50. Kennedy Warren caps the explosive first half with a driving bucket, sending the Scots into the break with a commanding 78-56 lead.
 
The Scots pick up right where they left off as Colbie West and Xavier Sorrell open the second half with back-to-back layups. Lyon's defense creates havoc, forcing several Panther turnovers that quickly turn into points on the other end. Trevon Taylor pushes the Scots past the 100-point mark with a powerful slam off a feed from West, making it 103-67.
 
Tucker Cunningham adds a strong finish at 11:51, and the Scots' fast-paced attack continues to pour it on, stretching the lead to 115-78. Kenneth Brown later lofts a perfect pass for another Taylor dunk as Lyon surges ahead 129-89. Though the Panthers make a late push, the Scots remain firmly in control and secure a high-scoring 153-139 victory.
 
Up next, Scots stay at home and will play the Spalding Golden Eagles on Saturday, December 4th at 3:00 PM.
