Batesville, AR – Despite a strong offensive effort, the Scots fell 3-0 to the Stephens College Stars. Lyon now sits at 2-6 on the season.
Both the Scots and the Stars finished the match with 10 shots apiece.
Rylie Williams led the way for Lyon with three attempts.

Lilly Barr each added shots of their own, with five of the team's attempts landing on target.
Kam Fowler started in goal for the Scots, making one save before
Jessie Stauffer entered at halftime to finish out the match.
Stephens College opened the match with early offensive pressure, registering three quick shots that all missed the target.
Rylie Williams recorded Lyon's first attempt in the 19th minute, sending her shot just high of the goal. Late in the first half, the Stars broke through, finding the back of the net in the 42nd minute to take a 1-0 lead into the break.
Williams opened the second half with another shot on goal, testing the Stars' goalkeeper early. Just minutes later, Stephens College extended their lead with a goal in the 49th minute to make it 2-0. The Stars added their final tally in the 68th minute, sealing a 3-0 advantage. The Scots continued to fight, recording a few more shots to close out the match.
The Scots will make a trip to Eureka college on October 9
th at 7:15 PM for their next match up.
