Batesville, AR - Finding themselves down at halftime The Lyon College Scots went on the attack in the second half, but struggled to find the back of the goal losing, 3-1, to the East Texas Baptist University Tigers. Scots are now 5-4-3 on the year. 

Lyon took 13 shots with six coming in the first and seven in the second. Of all the Scots shots five were on goal, with two in the first and three in the second. East Texas Baptist fired 18 shots with eight in the first and 10 in the second. Of all the Tigers shots 12 were on goal, with five in the first and seven in the second. 

Scots threatened the ETBU net to start the first half with Matheus Nunes firing in a shot that was saved by the Tigers goalkeeper (0:42). Adryan Ledezma would make his first save of the match stopping a shot from the Tigers (1:33). East Texas Baptist would score their first goal of the match in the 10th minute. Through the rest of the first half Scots would have opportunities but not be able to capitalize. 

In the Second, East Texas Baptist would score their second and third points of the match early. With the second coming on a penalty kick in the 53rd minute and the third coming no two minutes later in the 55th minute. Luca Torres would score the only goal for the Scots off a penalty kick (60:13). Nunes would take two shots late that would be saved by the Tigers goalkeeper (71:46 & 79:49). Fransico Polonia would make his fourth save of the match in the 81st minute. 

Nunes led the team with seven shots and three shots on goal. Torres scored the Scots only goal, he contributed two shots and two shots on goal. Lyon recorded a total of nine saves on the day. Ledezma recorded five of those saves, giving up one goal.  Polonia notched four saves, allowing two goals.
