GREENWOOD, Indiana -- Four Lyon College football players have been named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-American list.

Senior linebacker Nate Sarver, senior defensive lineman Slayton Wheeler, senior linebacker Michael Wingo, and sophomore kicker/punter Jesus Romero-Castillo each earned the distinction, as the CSC released the honorees on Tuesday.

The criteria for the award is to be student-athlete that is at least a sophomore, and maintains a 3.50-plus cumulative grade-point-average (GPA).
