BATESVILLE, Arkansas - Gustao Giesbrecht scored the match's only goal at the 17:26 mark of the first half as the Lyon College Scots men's soccer team defeated the University of Dallas Crusaders 1-0 on Friday evening on the Lyon College turf field.

The weather changed the venue of the game from the grass surface at Huser Field to the football turf field on the other side of the campus on Friday. The change made for fast and wet conditions and the Scots (2-1-2) got off eight shots, three of which were on-goal attempts. 

Erik Oliveria had a shot, as did Joao Barros and Giesbrecht, who netted his only attempt. Filipe Santana de Oliveria had a shot on-goal and Cristian De La Rosa had three shots, one of which just went over the top of the goal post. 

Lyon College goalie had two saves in the game on three shots by the Crusaders.
