BATESVILLE, Arkansas - The Lyon College Scots men's soccer team got a goal from
Micah Rangel in the 70th minute on an assist from Erik Oliveria, to take a 1-0 lead, but the Ouachita Baptist University Tigers came back to score in the 71st minute to tie the match, which ended in a 1-1 tie on Wednesday afternoon at Huser Field.
The Scots (1-1-2) had 14 shots in the match, four of which were on-goal opportunities to the Tigers' five total shots.Â
Goalie for the Scots,
Gabriel Rangel had two saves on the day and played the entire 90 minutes.
Micah Rangel had two shots on goal and put the last one in for a score. Oliveria had four shots,one of which was on-goal and
Mathes Nunes had two on-goal shots.
Lucca Torres had a shot in the match, as did Filipe Santan de Oliveria and
Tiago Donadon had two shots.
The first half was scoreless.
The Scots will be at home again on Friday afternoon against the University of Dallas.
