BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Lyon College Scots women's soccer team did not score in an 8-0 loss at Howard Payne on Saturday afternoon.
Lyon (0-2) had only four shots for the entire match and just one was an on goal attempts.
Katelyn Balderas had three shots at the goal and one-goal,
Millie Beller from Cave City, Arkansas had a shot at the goal.
Sydney Wolf made four saves and Bethany Moore had two saves at goalie.Â
Jessica Steele played 58 minutes, Zoe Papazolou played 70 minutes,
Lauren Couture played 76 minutes.
Hanna Klara Birgisdottir played 47 minutes,
Natalie Wyatt had 24 minutes in the contest, Beller played for 54 minutes, Balderas did not come off the field for the entire 90 minutes.
Emily Betzold played 53 minutes,
Emilee Simpson was on the field for 64 minutes, Wolf played goalie for 76 minutes and
Allison Byars put in 65 minutes.
The substitutes,
Jessie Stauffer came to relieve Wolf and played 30 minutes, Moore also came in at goalie and played 14 minutes,
Alexis Whitley limped off the field after playing 65 minutes,
Nataly Furne had 36 minutes,
Mikayla Neveloff played 25 minutes,
Emma Rumore played 34 minutes,
Maggie McCollum was in for 49 minutes, Makenzie Moody was in for 40 minutes,
Deaiveon Carter played 18 minutes and
Angela Penaflor got in for one minute.
The Scots will be at home on Thursday, September 5 to face Randall University.
