BATESVILLE, Arkansas - The Lyon College Scots softball team dropped a double-header to the Central Baptist College Mustangs on Saturday afternoon at Howard and Mary House Field.
The Scots (5-5) allowed 11 first inning runs to the Mustangs in Game 1 and fell 22-5. 
Chloe McCance doubled to right field in the bottom of the first inning and scored 
Sophie Varela and 
Anna Voth.
In the bottom of the second inning, 
Emily Martinez singled to left field to bring in 
Jada-Lynn King. 
Whitney Mitchell singled and 
Fallon Lancaster scored to, then 
Trinity Arrambide singled in 
Brianna Morquecho to make it 11-5.
CBC scored five more runs in the top of the third, added three runs in the top of the fourth and three more runs in the top of the fifth. The Mustangs had 18 hits in the game, while Lyon College had 10 hits.
Varela, Voth, Mitchell, 
Kyrah Skelton, Lancaster and Martinez all had one hit each. Arrambide and McCance had two hits each.
In Game 2, CBC led 1-0 through the first two innings, then scored 20 runs in the top of the fourth inning to win 25-0 also in five innings.
Lyon College had five hits in the game. Voth, Mitchell, Arrambide, 
Olivia Orf and 
Jacey Holder had hits in the game.
