Ashton Compton and scored when
Braden Hendrix put down a squeeze bunt to make it 1-0.
The Scots tacked on another run in the bottom of the fifth inning when
Kooper McCoy led off with a single, advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt from Graef and scored when Hendrix got a base hit to make it 2-0.
In the bottom of the sixth,
Jayden Cull and
Walker Smith both walked, then
Caleb Collins singled in Cull and
Logan Lightner tripled to score both Smith and Collins for a 5-0 lead for Lyon College.
Sewanee picked up a run in the top of the seventh, but Gordon struck out the five of the last six batters he faced.
