Colbie West scored 24 points and had 12 rebounds, while
Malik Madison had 12 points and 10 boards in a 75-69 loss at Webster on Thursday night.
The Scots (3-4, 1-1) trailed 36-29 at halftime and a had a short-lived lead in the second half only to give way to Webster.Â
Frank Toney had 11 points, while
Kylon McCullough scored seven points and had eight rebounds, Trent Bell added six points, Warren Kennedy added four points,
Brody Tucker came off the bench to hit a three-pointer and
Luke Bridges added a basket.
Lyon College scored 38 points in the paint, eight points off of turnovers, had 19 second chance points and got nine bench points. The score was tied twice and the lead changed seven times in the game.
The Scots shot 41 percent from the field and 30 percent from the three-point arch. Lyon College made 11 of 14 free throws and suffered 17 turnovers.
Lyon College plays at Westminster on Saturday afternoon.
