CONWAY, Arkansas - Kylon McCullough scored 18 points and had nine rebounds, Colbie West had 16 points and eight boards, and Frank Toney scored 13 points with six rebounds to lead the Lyon College Scots past the Hendrix Warriors 77-60 on Thursday night at Grove Gymnasium in Conway.

The Scots (5-5) led 38-20 at halftime after a 25-2 run early in the first half put space between them and the Warriors, who jumped out to a 10-2 lead. Kennedy Warren had four points, Malik Madison scored two points and had five blocked shots, Tucker Cunningham came in off the bench for seven points, including two three-pointers. Luke Bridges added four points, Brody Tucker scored four points, Trenton Bell knocked down a three-pointer, Jackson Midyett had three points, Jonzelle Bush scored two and John Paul Morgan made a free throw in the contest.

Lyon College shot 47 percent from the field and hit 8-of-20 three-pointers in the game. The Scots were also 11-of-17 from the free throw line and scored 36 points in the paint. They had 12 points come off of 14 Hendrix turnovers, had 17 second-chance points and 17 fast-break points. The bench for Lyon College accounted for a season-high 24 points. 

The lead changed hands one time in the game when the Scots took a 11-10 lead on a West three-pointer after the Warriors jumped out to a quick 10-point lead. Lyon College never trailed after that point.

The Scots will return home to Becknell Gymnasium on January 4 for a SLIAC contest against Mississippi University for Women at 3 p.m.
