LITCHFIELD, Illinois - The Lyon College Scots men's Cross Country team ran sixth out of nine teams in the SLIAC championships on Saturday morning.
James McNew led the Scots in the men's 8000 meter run with a 16th place finish in a time of 28:20.57.
Thomas Daniel was 35th in a time of 31:34.61.
Collin Orvin was 36th in a time of 31:40.95,
Noah Cordes ran 37th in a time of 31:44.30,
Gavin Bush finished 38th in a time of 31:52.86,
Ethan Byler was 40th in a time of 32:14.68,
Timothy Brady was 41st in a time of 32:17.25.
Jakobe Alcorn was 58th in a time of 34:06.47,
Andrew Hernandez was 63rd in at time of 35:22.00 and Sean Hall finished 67th in a time of 37:39.47.
The Scots finished with a team score of 162. There were 75 runners in the men's race.
