ELSAH, Illinois - The Lyon College men's soccer team came up with a 2-0 win at Principia on Saturday afternoon in SLIAC action.
The Scots (5-4-1 and 2-0-1) got two goals from
Erik Oliveira. His first goal came in the first half with 6:52 into the match on an assist by
Martin Esquivel.
Ryan Jenkins assisted Oliveira on the second goal that came at the 70:08 mark of the second half.
Lyon had 11 shots in the match with seven on-goal kicks.Â
Esquivel had one shot on-goal and one assist,
Andrei Galca had one shot on-goal,
Tomas Biasi had a shot at the goal, Oliveira had three shots on-goal and netted two of them.
Matheus Nunes had three shots with one on-goal,
Filipe Santana de Oliveira had two shots and one-goal for a total of 11 shots for the Scots.
