GREENVILLE, Illinois - The Lyon College Scots women's soccer team was shut out 5-0 by Greenville on Thursday night in SLIAC competition.
The Scots (3-5, 0-2) had three shots on goal, one in the first half and two in the second. Greenville led 2-0 at halftime and within the first two minutes of the second half, increased that to a 4-0 advantage.
So far Lyon College has not scored a goal against its first two SLIAC opponents.Against Greenville,
Priscilla Luevano made six saves for the Scots, but Lyon had no corner kicks and committed nine fouls.
Alexis Whitley,
Zoe Papazoglou and Luevano were the only three Scots to play the full 90 minutes in the match.
Katelyn Balderas had one shot on goal,
Taylor Hammons took a shot and
Addy Lovell had the third Lyon College shot.Â
Aisha Mahmound played 86 minutes, Hammons played 81 minutes,Â
Bella Nehus played 74 minutes,
Ashlyn Winters played 69 minutes and Lovell played 64 minutes.
Allison Byars played 56 minutes, while
Maggie McCollum and Balderas both played 55 minutes in the contest.
