O'FALLON, Missouri - The Lyon College Scots baseball team will be playing the Harris-Stowe State University Hornets in the first round of the American Midwest Conference tournament at CarShield Field in O'Fallon, Missouri this morning at 10 a.m.

The Scots (17-23) come into today's game as the fifth seed and the Hornets are the eighth seed for the tournament. During the regular season back on April 7th and 8th, the Scots won two of three from Harris-Stowe winning the first game 8-4, losing the second 3-1 and winning the series finale 21-5. 

The winner of Lyon vs. Harris-Stowe will play the Williams Baptist University Eagles at 4 p.m. on Monday. The loser of the game will be eliminated from the tournament. 

The winner of the 4 p.m. game goes on to play top-seeded Missouri Baptist in the second round at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The loser of that game will play the loser of of Game 6, which could be Columbia, Central Baptist College or Hannibal-LaGrange.
