SEARCY, Arkansas - The Lyon College baseball Scots took on the Harding University Bison on Monday night at Jimmy Moore Field.
The Scots (16-18) lost to the Division II Great American Conference Bison 9-1.
Lyon scored in the top of the seventh inning when
Zane Wallace singled to center field and
Jayden Cull scored on the play.
Logan Lightner,
Austin Shipman,
Garrett Graef and Wallace had the only hits for the Scots in the game.Â
Lyon started with
Ian Jackson on the mound. He went 1.1. innings and gave up two runs.
Nick Chaney came in to pitch for 1.0 innings and allowed three runs.
Brayden Anderson pitched for 1.2 innings and gave up three runs.
Joe Galway pitched for an inning,
Rhett Crafton pitched for an inning,
Derek Underwood threw for one and Lightner closed out the game on the mound for the Scots.
