Malik Madison scored 18 points,
Nikola SaSaroga added 15 points and
Frank Toney scored 12 to lead the Lyon College Scots men's basketball team to a 77-66 win over the host Fontbonne Griffins on Thursday night in SLIAC conference action in St. Louis.
SaSaroga also had 15 rebounds to complete a double-double for the game Madison had eight rebounds and Toney grabbed seven.
Kylon McCullough had nine points,
Israel Palmer had nine points,
John Paul Morgan had eight points and eight rebounds and
Trenton Bell scored six points in the Scots opening conference victory.
Lyon College led 40-34 at halftime and outscored the Griffins 37-32 in the second half. The Scots scored 36 points in the paint, 15 points off of Fontbonne turnovers, had 21 second chance points, 15 fast-break points, and got 14 points from bench players.
The Scots will be on the road on Saturday at Principia College in Elsah, Illinois.
