St. Louis, Mo. – Ty Ferguson of Lyon (Ark.) has been selected as the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Wrestler of the Week, the league announced on Monday. He was selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from January 2 through January 8 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC.
The next NAIA Men's Wrestler of the Week award will be released on Wednesday.

- Went 2-1 on the week and finished second at the Hawk Classic.
- Defeated Reco Robinson (Allen University) by fall (4:38) in round two.
- Won by tech fall (20-4) vs. Bryson Rowley (Kentucky Wesleyan) in round three.
