WALNUT RIDGE, AR. - The Lyon College Scots volleyball team rallied to a 3-0 victory at Crowley's Ridge College Monday night in Paragould, Arkansas at Carver Activities Center.

The Scots (6-7) won the first set 25-9, the second set 25-15, and third set 26-24 to win the match in straight sets.

Leading the charge in kills for Lyon College was
Kylee Sabella with 12 while
Paeton Tucker and
Samantha Ferguson each contributed nine a piece in the victory.
Erin Haigwood led the Scots in digs with 23,
Kylee Sabella notched 13 and Tucker added 12.

Cassidy Garrett led the Scots with 20 assists and
Isabella Beasley tallied 17 of her own leading to Garrett and Beasley contributing 88 percent of total assists for the match. Beasley and Ferguson each had two service aces.

In the first set,
Cassidy Garrett led the Scots to an early 8-0 run. In the run,
Isabella Beasley contributed two kills and
Paeton Tucker tallied one more. The Scots combined for 11 kills in the first set to win the set. Â

The second set was much closer in the beginning where the Pioneers got the score to 4-3. After a kill by Sabella, the Scots went on a 5-0 run to get the score 9-3. Lyon College went on to win by nine.

The Scots rallied from a 21-18 deficit to overtake Crowley's Ridge 26-24 in the final set to win the match.
